Moderators are paskening lots of threads, treif today. Hmmmm. They dont seem any worse than lots of previous threads.
The treif gavel is heavily active.
According to the Halachik Examiner, we had a poisonous mix of unorthodox idea and ideals.
I’ve been on the boards today. Although I’m a bit mystified that my post about putting my wife’s name on our kids’ wedding invitations didn’t prompt a shutdown. 🙂

I would like to second that, aldough I rearly agree with him I still admire the way he makes his points, never shouting or insulting just intelectualy making his point.

No, hanging out is a good thing. The alternative is leaving wet clothing in a lump, and that makes it wrinkled and funny smelling, and no one wants that.

i love nailpolish i think its tznius and pretty. maybe not black nail polish or lime green, but shades of pink, coral, and purple are nice. i especially like to wear it while flying on my umbrella

What exactly is wrong with black nail polish in itself?
I consider it a yeshivishe color, & totally ok.
Of course its not your typical Sem girl color,
or mainstream chareidi, it seems kind of funny though cuz
everything else is so black about the way our chareidim women(& men) dress i.e. tops, skirts, dresses,socks, etc..
why not black polish?

coffee addict, I don’t have sugar, but a few packs of equal would do it. and bein_hasdorim, you’re right black is yeshivish and it should be yeshivish to wear on your nails, but for some reason it’s considered goth and a big fashion statement if you wear it, and is therefore not minhag hamakom and therefore probabaly not so tznius. I wouldn’t look down on someone who does bec it’s much better than wearing some other things, but it is a fashion statement you have to admit. I wore balck nail polish in camp one time and i was not punk at all, and I was known as the girl w balck polish
its not like you can over look it. pink and light colors are nice and not horrible looking. but black is just not refined
Black nail polish is great for touching up scratches on camera housings :).
