Wear shoes that are too big for you with cooshy socks?

Get yourself some new crocs that are less ugly.

I always tip for sore feet. The waiters deserve it, even if they don’t complain that their feet are sore.

Is it the bottom of your heel that hurts? Is it worst in the morning, with the first steps you take after getting out of bed?

You can try taking ibuprofen and buying a pad to put in your shoes. But simply resting and staying off your feet for a few days is probably the only thing that will really cure it. Refuah shleimah!

Massage the back of the shoe. That means to push the area at the back where it is bothering your foot and press it down into the inner part of the shoe (fold it down) and let it go, press it down and let it go back up. Keep doing this for the whole area of the back of the shoe. This will soften up the material so that it won’t rub. In the meantime, put bandaids on the area that is bothering you, particularly when you are going to wear those shoes next Shabbos.
