    They take up space and should be deleted right away.

    I leave them up for a few minutes so that the person will stop posting asking what happened to their thread.

    Hey, I thought what I wrote would be deleted, the thread would be closed, and there would be a declaration from a mod explaining this.

    To ben_David: Stop posting asking about other deletions. Keep in mind that by definition, if a post is deleted you won’t see it.

    Hey folks, give the mods a break. They’re doing us a favor here. And to back up 127, it does say in the rules, “2 – If your post was deleted, please don’t post asking us why your post was deleted. It was deleted because we felt that there was something inappropriate, off topic etc. Do not resubmit deleted posts.”

    (To be fair to us posters, the rule before that seems to be completely ignored 🙂 ).
