    … is through his stomach.

Or so goes the popular saying.

Is it true? Any practical suggestions… baking cookies? Some other ideas?

    Opinions, please.

At which stage are you that you are asking? Or are you trying to mess with the CR?

As this week’s Parsha says, bake “Ugos Matzos”, Cakes of Matzo, and I’ll heartily consume them 10 weeks from tonite.

Shidduchim aren’t about the heart, They’re about the head. If it seems shayach on paper, that should be our criteria. Romance is a goyishe concept.

If 2 people are from comparable backgrounds, share the same hashkafos, desired standard of living, mutually satisfactory paranssa/professions, and want the same things out of life, it could very well be a shidduch.

Treat him with respect and make him feel like you think he is G-ds gift to humanity. Thats really the trick.

You want Joseph to make you cookies? Sounds like a bad idea to me…

Romance is as much a goyishe concept as chocolate chip cookies.

Why would you bring food on a date?

Romance is as much a goyishe concept as chocolate chip cookies.

Chocolate chip cookies were invented by the greeks and were originally brought as an offering to Zeus. This was because they believed that whatever was brought had to be better than what they themselves ate. So they put chocolate chips in the cookies for him, so that they could still eat cookies without the chocolate chips.

I’ve been on picnic dates where we brought food. If you are going to a lounge and you show up with tupperware filled with Shabbos leftovers ….well, that’s a different story.

Generally you bring the food to a picnic outing…why would there be a need to ask if it is appropriate?
