hi there! its me again! so i heard about this seminary in toronto! i was just wondering if any of you know anything about it? please annyyy info would help! thanx!!!!!!!
and what are the teachers, principals, classes, curriculum like? is it a warm atmosphere??? do they have a lot of extra curriculum? is it more chassidish or litvish or modern or just a mix? please help me out here! thanx!!
The principal has been an educator at Bais Yaakov Toronto for many years. His wife is a chashuva lady who is very good at what she does. The students are very frum as is the environment. They have a Shabbaton and other trips throughout the year. (My daughter who graduated three years ago is still invited.) I remember that she looked forward to going. As mentioned above, they are now doing a play.
a relative just applied. i have been told that the family looked into it deeply and were very impressed with the curriculum and the quality of the girls. i understand that it is a diverse student body and that the girls are “growthful”. the graduates qualify for a Torah Umesorah teaching certificate at the end of the seminary year, as well as being able to obtain college credits for the year. was also told that the girls are “busy” but that there is not “busy work” and that there is a balance between class work and extracurriculars. sounds like it is worth looking into!
oh really?! thank you!! im just decideding between a bunch of places and want to hear from different peoples perspective!! if you have any thing else to add about the seminary or how its run….. id be really thankful!!!
