We comply with the Remo [whose 444th is fast approaching being this year Lag b’Omer] and consumed all 4 cups both nites prior to Chatzos, and next 4 mornings I shall make it my business to comply with the Remo by making Benediction over my Tefillin on Chol haMoed.

We barely finished in time for Kriyas Shema.
April 7, 2018 10:38 pm at 10:38 pm #1503330klugeryidParticipantJosef
Of מעריב ?
😂April 8, 2018 12:13 am at 12:13 am #1503338FreddyfishParticipantWe finished 1:45 but our whole family (beside me ) took a half an hour nap on couch after shulchan aruch so I don’t know if it counts!!!!!!!!!
April 22, 2019 1:18 am at 1:18 am #1718046JosephParticipantAnd… this year’s winner is?
April 23, 2019 10:17 am at 10:17 am #1718522SeltzerParticipantMy seder was so fast, we actually finished before we even started. It was a time machine. It’s now almost Tu B’shvat.
April 27, 2022 10:24 am at 10:24 am #2080339ujmParticipantEveryone please share what time your Seder ended this year.
April 27, 2022 12:21 pm at 12:21 pm #2080374Reb EliezerParticipant2:00 o’clock

why?
April 27, 2022 1:20 pm at 1:20 pm #2080438commonsaychelParticipant@syag, exactly my thoughts.
April 27, 2022 2:21 pm at 2:21 pm #2080441jackkParticipantA better question is who enjoyed and felt elevated from the Seder no matter what time it ended?
April 27, 2022 2:32 pm at 2:32 pm #2080461🍫Syag LchochmaParticipant👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
April 27, 2022 3:11 pm at 3:11 pm #2080465jackkParticipantA Seder should be an event that our children will always have fond memories of, not a contest for how long it can shlep.
אחד המרבה ואחד הממעיט ובלבד שיכוין לבו לשמיםApril 27, 2022 4:52 pm at 4:52 pm #2080520ujmParticipant“why?”
Reb Eliezer understands the question why.
April 28, 2022 11:20 am at 11:20 am #2080712Reb EliezerParticipantThe Yabia Omer says a cute pshat on the above. What comes before the inclusion (ribbu) גם? The letters לב and what comes before the exclusion (miut) אך? Also the letters לב. So either case the heart is the more important.
April 28, 2022 4:41 pm at 4:41 pm #2080808Reb EliezerParticipantShould be above what comes after אך?
April 29, 2022 12:07 pm at 12:07 pm #2081036GotAGoodPointParticipant147 – You are 100% right to be noheg like the Rema. but I think he only said it to be choshesh for the Shita that it must be by Chatzos. It is however a machlokes Rishonim whether the halacha is like R’ Akiva or R’ Eliezer and therefore you should still be מספר ביציאת מצרים after the fourth Kos.
April 29, 2022 12:07 pm at 12:07 pm #2081035GotAGoodPointParticipantOne year we were running so late that we missed the first Alos and only drank the fourth before the Second Alos! (Which is a problem of drinking wine before Shacharis but I guess the Mitzva of 4 Kosos is very chomur so it’s better to be err on that side and be soimech on the second shita – I hope!)
Any way i think the main halacha is like the second Alos.
I must admit that we made a Tenai and ate Afikoman before chatzos and then had Shulach Orech after Chatzos.April 29, 2022 2:06 pm at 2:06 pm #2081121n0mesorahParticipantIt depends which chart you are using. Some charts first Alos can be after astronomical dawn.
May 5, 2022 4:54 pm at 4:54 pm #2083610MenachemFivenbirmbaumParticipantThis thread has 11:30 shacharis written all over it
May 5, 2022 7:54 pm at 7:54 pm #2083698ujmParticipantIf you finish your Seder at Zman Krias Shma Shel Shachris, you can daven Shachris Vasikin, right after the Seder.
May 5, 2022 9:08 pm at 9:08 pm #2083719n0mesorahParticipantDear Ujm,
Nah. There is plenty of time until davening starts. Though in truth one is not allowed to go to sleep after alos if they will not wake up for minyan.
May 8, 2022 10:45 am at 10:45 am #2084274EmEmCParticipantStill ongoing, since 1997. We are in the middle of echad mi yodeah….
May 8, 2022 3:28 pm at 3:28 pm #2084415n0mesorahParticipantSome families have real difficulties counting backwards from thirteen.
May 10, 2022 6:45 pm at 6:45 pm #2085376GotAGoodPointParticipantSorry I couldn’t reply until today – we just, just finished, and I could not type or do any melocho before saying Havdolo
May 11, 2022 9:28 pm at 9:28 pm #2085830n0mesorahParticipantSo who used your screenname to post about drinking the fourth cup after the first alos? Is there another GotAGoodPoint? Or is some sort of misunderstanding like a second alos?
May 12, 2022 1:17 pm at 1:17 pm #2086119GotAGoodPointParticipantn0mesorah; You GotAGoodPoint!
