I think ketchup is fantastic! I have it on my hot dogs, burgers, fries, and plenty of other things!
And I would eat it in a boat!
And I would eat it with a goat!
And I will eat it in the rain.
And in the dark. And on a train.
And in a car. And in a tree.
It is so good so good you see!
So I will eat it in a box.
And I will eat it with a fox.
And I will eat it in a house.
And I will eat it with a mouse.
And I will eat it here and there.
Say! I will eat it ANYWHERE!
(Obviously, when the animals are listed, it doesn’t mean eating the animals with ketchup, it means the animals will eat ketchup together with me.)

I like ketchup but I’m not crazy over it. For me it goes with fries, fried/baked breaded fish and maybe a few other things. I agree that they can make it taste a lot better than it does. Its too fake. I prefer a good marinara sauce or salsa any day of the week.
(as a side, i can’t believe i’m posting on a ketchup thread….but whatever…)
my 1 1/2 year old would have loved to post here. he sometimes eats his fries with ketchup, or chicken or maybe even macaroni. other than that he just likes to eat it plain.
if i could put in my 2 cents: heinz ketchup – there are no other kind.

Only recipe I wouldn’t go for that featured ketchup is cottage cheees with ketchup, that Gerald Ford had for breakfast the day he became President.
every food and beverage, except perhaps Grape Soda, is improved by ketchup. I come from the Bronx, where it’s the universal condiment and proof of Hashem’s love of humanity.

Ketchup chicken are slightly smaller than cornish hen and raised exclusively in the farm town of Ketchuptown, South Carolina. The chickens frequently can be seen swimming in the waters of Myrtle Beach, which is where they get their unique flavor.
Ketchuptown is actually the 57th largest city in SC.

If I express sympathetic views in the ketchup-hating thread (as there are some foods I just won’t eat with ketchup because those specific combinations taste gross) would you hold it against me?

I HATE ketchup, and seeing my siblings eat plain ketchup sandwiches doesn’t help…
