Who was the greatest person who ever lived? Was it Dovid Hamelech or perhaps Moshe Rabbeinu or would you say it’s not for us to judge. Between Avraham Avinu Yitsckok Yaakov Moshe Aaron Dovid Shlomo which also is the ushpizin its a very hard pick. I think it’s Moshe Rabbeinu who was the greatest tzadik as it says on the Rambams kever “from Moshe till Moshe there was none like Moshe”.

October 22, 2014 8:15 pm at 8:15 pm #1036797Little FroggieParticipantSo many greatests. Depends what. Each one is unique in his or her qualities, talents, strengths. How do you (a mortal) measure greatness in Nevuah (Moshe) against greatness in Emunah, Chesed (Avraham), greatness in chochma (Shlomo) against greatness in tzidkus (Yosef) etc.
Each had his own unique greatness.
As WE DO TOO! Each of us (gevald – me too) possesses a unique talent, quality suited for maximum use and need of our particular circumstance, use and need.

I believe with complete faith that the prophecy of Moses our teacher, peace unto him, was true; and that he was the father of the prophets, both of those who preceded and of those who followed him.

Aww that’s so sweet! I am so honored you put me up there with the biggest and best! (Popa being the biggest and the others being the best)
I think you left out someone in your list there, btw…….And nobody thought of SiDi? 😉

October 24, 2014 7:20 am at 7:20 am #1036806frumnotyeshivishParticipantReally? No one noticed that the “ushpizin” included Shlomo and excluded Yosef?
But the answer is obviously Peyton Manning.
