The Democrats says you can’t blame them because Hamas, Loius Farrakahn, Fidel Castro, Hugo Chavez, and Mahmoud Ahmadinejad all endorse Barack H. Obama.
But why does the Democrat Party tolerate, accept, and lick up to anti-semites in their party like Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Cynthia McKinney, Earl Hilliard, James Moran, Ernest Hollings?
The only explanation is that the anti-semitic vote is more important to the Democrats, than the Jews.

November 10, 2008 3:40 am at 3:40 am #642643Will HillParticipantSad, but true.
It is shocking that some (especially religious) Jews still associate with the Democrats.
November 10, 2008 4:31 am at 4:31 am #642644JosephParticipantThis is the fundamental difference between the Republicansand the Democrats. The Democrats welcome their anti-semites and make them at home with ful honors, while the Republicans ostricize and dismiss any in their midst.

It’s the “DemocratIC” Party.

November 10, 2008 11:38 pm at 11:38 pm #642648charliehallParticipantThere is no “Democrat” party.
Cynthia McKinney is not a Democrat — she was the Green Party candidate for President
this year!
Earl Hilliard and Fritz Hollings are long out of office. Neither Jackson nor Sharpton have ever been elected to anything. Moran is problematic, but you can thank the Republicans in Virginia for carefully gerrymandering a congressional seat just for him.
November 11, 2008 11:34 pm at 11:34 pm #642649JosephParticipantCharlie,
Every one of the aforementioned Anti-Semite Democrat politicians left office on their own volition (or in Mckinney’s situation by voters decree.)
None of them were marginalized by the Democrat Party. As long as they remained in office, they were honored and welcomed by the Democrat Party, and by the various Democrat Congressional Caucuses.
And Anti-Semites Sharpton and Jackson, who have both run (and lost) for elected office on the Democrat line, too were AND ARE long honored and welcomed by the Democrat Party.
April 19, 2009 4:12 pm at 4:12 pm #642651aussieboyParticipantJoseph: Voting republican is more independant minded. Most of the people who voted for Obama have no real clue of his policies or of who he is, but only voted for him because he is black or because of all the hype about him.
Did you hear of the news station that went to Harlem and started asking the people there if they thought it was good that Obama was having a women as his vice president and things that were being condemned because they were McCains policies, but when they were told it was Obama doing it they were ok with it? Just proof that there are plenty of people who voted for Obama it was because of how popular he was and not because they agreed with him.
April 20, 2009 2:14 pm at 2:14 pm #642652mepalMemberJoseph: I’m so glad to hear someone is happy with the new administration because MOST people are not. Even those that were originally for Obama are very dissappointed. And I dont disagree with them.
