Who is the black sheep of your family, what makes him that and how does your family treat him?

Moderators: are you seriously going to allow this thread?

Yes, but I probably won’t approve any posts for it.

I plan to have a sheep one day, but I don’t think I’ll consider her part of my family.

I know someone who has a sheep farm. She’s Jewish. I don’t know if any of her sheep are black. If so, she probably treats them the same as her other sheep. They wear sweaters. And sleep in the barn.

Definitely Ben. His wool is black as coal and we love him for it.

Btw, thank you Geordie613 for letting me use your computer. Baaaaa

This thread has the potential to become extremely racist, if that wasn’t the intention in the beginning.

RebYidd23, Given my South African upbringing, I was sensitive to that, and that’s why I allowed my pet Shepsel to publically declare his affection for his black sheep.

Some people think it’s a maaleh to be “black” (aka chareidi)

LuL, South African chareidim struggle with that.

In 1973 My paternal grandmother (who lived in an apartment building on Ocean Parkway in Brooklyn), complained to my maternal grandmother (who live in an apartment building on the Grand Concourse in the Bronx) that her building was going Schvartz.

My Maternal grandmother commiserated and said 3 black families had moved into her building as well.

NO, my paternal grandmother explained: Not black people, Jews in Black Hats!

There was a Jewish black comedian who said that he wants to live in Israel. “It’s the only place where people talk about how the Blacks are moving in and they don’t mean me!” (I guess he’s not Chareidi)

Who is the real black sheep of your family, Joseph, and what led you to ask this question?
