Thank you Senator Schumer for opposing the deal with Iran! May you continue to be a Shomer Yisrael!
August 7, 2015 3:27 am at 3:27 am #1098811TheGoqParticipantHe’s only doing it because he knows it will pass and this way he can look good to the jewish voters while not blocking obamas bad deal.
August 7, 2015 3:43 am at 3:43 am #1098812homerMemberGoq your probably right.
Thank you for what. Having a brain. Sheesh
August 7, 2015 3:53 am at 3:53 am #1098813YW Moderator-29 👨💻ModeratorMatan, I think you mean a Schumer Yisrael.
August 7, 2015 3:56 am at 3:56 am #1098814Matan1ParticipantHe could have voted with Obama and his party. When someone does the something good, you say thank you, even if it’s expected of them.
Like when a waiter takes my order at a restaurant. It’s their job to to that. But I still say thank you.
August 7, 2015 12:37 pm at 12:37 pm #1098815TheGoqParticipantKudos on treating people in the service industry with respect we appreciate it.

I’ll believe he is truly against the deal if he loudly and publicly advocates other democrats to vote no as well.
As for this shomer yisroel nonesense, this is getting out of hand. there is only one shomer yisroel and his name isnt chuck.
September 3, 2015 10:48 am at 10:48 am #1098818TheGoqParticipantMatan1 are you still thankful?
September 3, 2015 2:31 pm at 2:31 pm #1098819kfbParticipantThanking Chuck for what? He made sure this horrible bill would first pass before he voted no. If he was sincere, he would have used his power as a top ranking democrat in the senate and convinced others to reject the bill. He should have at least convinced the other NY senator, Gilibrand, to vote no. But he didn’t. He does not deserve any thanks from those who oppose the deal. You can thank Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio and all of the other Republicans in the senate who voted against the deal and who continue to be outspoken again the deal.
September 3, 2015 2:37 pm at 2:37 pm #1098820mythoughtsParticipantBlah. Chuck made no public effort to block this and this guy loves a public spectacle.
September 3, 2015 7:12 pm at 7:12 pm #1098821screwdriverdelightParticipantIt was against his political agenda to vote against the deal and it may effect his future ambitions. I don’t think that should be ignored.
September 4, 2015 1:34 pm at 1:34 pm #1098822flatbusherParticipantI agree that he did it for his own political agenda–to keep his Jewish constituents happy. His opposition is essentially meaningless since he hasn’t continued to speak out against it or even try to persuade any of his colleagues about how bad the deal is.
September 4, 2015 5:50 pm at 5:50 pm #1098823apushatayidParticipantdid anyone read ben cardins op-ed in todays washington post in which he spells out why he will vote “no”?
September 4, 2015 8:03 pm at 8:03 pm #1098824screwdriverdelightParticipantflatbusher–that’s exactly why we should thank him. He did us, specifically, a favor. His ulterior motives doesn’t stop it from being a favor.
