A friend of mine who is a doctor saw an accident on the road and stopped to help. While doing so, he got hit by another car and is in the hospital in need of a refuah. Please daven for Daniel ben Shira Tziviya.
May he have a Refuah Shelaima b’karov.
Doctors are not trained for pre hospital emergency care. All EMTs and MEdics know the first rule of pre hospital care, Scene safety!
However my heart goes out for this doctor, he should have a refua shleima.

Yea they all know the rule, but how many practice it? Can you tell me how many accidents were caused by first -responders this year or they don’t cause any? Think before you post and criticize s/o else.
2scents- And all Jews know the rule about being dan lkaf zchus. This doctor may be an ER doc in which case he would be more knowledgeable in pre-hospital care. Or me have been an orthopedist focusing on the patients musculoskeletal injuries. Secondly, assume he was on the shoulder and taking proper precautions. Its hard to avoid an out of control car at 70MPH regardless of all precautions.
