i think theres one called Vayachanu….i know someone who went she said it was amazing…..
DKTY stands for the 4 directions in hebrew. Daroma, kedma, tzafona, yama
Vayachanu is 3 weeks, it’s mostly LA girls. It’s directed by the colorful and opinionated english teacher at the Bais Yaakov of LA. There’s one main big activity of the day and the rest of the time is pretty much free/chill time. It’s pretty small – 30-50 girls coming out of 8th-12th grade. Its in big bear which is basically mountainous area, and it’s right on a lake.
I heard Camp Frontier is a camp for special children. Does anyone know if this is true? Or is it a regular camp for high school girls? I would really appreciate some info and their # if anyone knows anything..
From what I’ve heard Vayachanu is for chilled out, open-minded girls. I’ve never gone there but I know the person who runs it and girls there. They all seem to really enjoy it. I can give you the director’s number if you want.

yup lol my mom doesn’t let me stay home if i wanted to and i so don’t but theirs nothing to do and my fam. doesn’t even go away. so ye any ideas
yes shopping addict your mother shouldnt let you stay at home. there are many nisyonos over the summer at home and hashem yerachem you should do something bad. my best advice for you would be you should find a strictly all girls camp somewhere in new york, they have some very good camp there such as deena, sternberg, and a few more. look into mew york camp, they are very good!
ye im going to camp 1 half and my parents don’t want to spent a fortune fore another so they want me to work or do something fore less money. But there is nothing to do. 🙁 🙁
Im not going to camp but i have plans for 1 half too. but 1st half- zero. nothing!! and then everyone wonders why theres bored kids on the street-this is why! =( give us girls in the city something to do besides for day camp counselors!!!! which i tried last year and failed miserably so not even trying this year =(
ye i could work in day camp but i hate it and they pay you pips for working sooo hard!!!
omg i know! where do u live? im serious!=) i soo wanna go on a road trip somewhere, an adventure, explore places so badly! =( its not fair that i have noone to drive me or anything =(. im gonna be all alone doing nothing and theres nothing i can do about it. i hate feeling powerless =( what should we do?? help someone! come rescue us! please!
