Why does it take so long for everything to upload- like, for an hour the CR page has been the same! Is it just my computer?
skiaddict: The editor is looking for sponsors to pay for 10 full time moderators to be on 24/6. Until he finds them, be happy with the ones now doing it for no pay who do their best and get complaints aplenty in return. If you dont like this, go ski.
The CR page had been the same since sundown on Friday night. This place is closed on Shabbat and nothing on the page changes until after Havdallah (I assume in the US Eastern time zone).
You will learn with time that the mods sleep at times durring the day, and at those times posts are not getting moderated, therefor posts are not going up on the main page.
You have to be patient some mods hold by 72 minutes.
moderators are on strike until AYC comes back

I couldn’t even sign in last night. I kept putting in my screen name and password and nothing would happen. Then I asked one of my daughters to try with her name and the same thing happened. So I guess there was a problem with the CR – not that the moderators were sleeping.
RB just laugh out loud hilarious thank you for that.
