    I just received this email with a correction to my first one (if it ever posts)

    Here it is:

    A reader emailed me that the numbers for Tuesday’s Dow Jones closing was + 429.62, not + 429.92, which equals 23, not 26.

    At first I was disappointed, but then it occurred to me that kappitel 23 in Tehillim is the chapter that we say for parnassah. Interesting. Sandwiched in between the gematria of Hashem’s name on Monday and Wednesday, is another hint that our parnassa comes from Hashem, and maybe a message that among the chaos of today’s world, we just need to remember to strengthen our emunah and bitachon. Hashem orchestrates everything that happens, and it is all for our benefit.

    Tehillim – Chapter 23

    1. A song of David. The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. ?.

    2. He causes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside still waters. ?.

    3. He restores my soul; He leads me in paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. ?.

    5. You set a table before me in the presence of my adversaries; You anointed my head with oil; my cup overflows. ?.

    6. May only goodness and kindness pursue me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for length of days.

    I got this in an email. Interesting, no?

    Subject: is G-D telling us something?

    For each day the Stock Market closed this week, the total of the digits of the change on the dow jones is the number 26 .

    Monday close – 634.76 = 26

    Tuesday close + 429.92 = 26

    Wednesday close – 519.83= 26

    An actuary in shul said the odds of this are millions to one

    For those not familiar, the number 26 is the sum of the name of hashem – yud=10, hay =5, vav = 6 hay = 5 grand total 26

    The originator of the email sent me this link to Yahoo! Finance News. According to Yahoo, all of the gematrias for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday’s closings equal 26.

    Friday close: 11,444.61

    Monday close: 10809.85 the difference is 634.76 which equals 26

    Tuesday close: 11,239.77 the difference is 429.92 which equals 26

    Tuesday close: 11,239.77

    Wednesday close: 10,719.94 the difference is 519.83 which equals 26
