Special Education Services in Yeshivos Issues?

You bet it’s serious. I got my degree in special ed because I wanted to bring quality service to the yeshivas while still being paid by the department of education with benefits. Now, even in NY, things like Title I and others are being privatized. The schools/parents think that’s wonderful because they get more control over who works with their students. However, I don’t think I can afford to work in these yeshivas anymore and I bet many other frum employees will find themselves switching to the public education system as well.
