I know, right? I couldn’t believe that I was thinking either. But what do you know, miracles still do happen.

I can’t really remember what I was thinking about. I just know that I was thinking, and that got me thinking. If we think about the things that we think about, at some point you start thinking about the fact that we’re thinking about things that we’ve previously thought. And once we’re doing that, then if you think about it, we’re really just thinking our original thought, which kind of makes the middle step, that of thinking about our thoughts, unnecessary.

Which is why I’ve decided to forget everything I think as soon as I think it, so that when I think of the thoughts I was thinking, I will not have thought in vain. I suggest you try it. I think it’s a really deep thought.

I seem to have lost my train of thought. What was I thinking about? Ah yes. Now that I think about it, I think it would be an even better idea to forget what you’re thinking before you think it, as this would save time by eliminating the step of the pre thought think. Now, even before you fully formulate a thought, you can already start thinking about the thing you were thinking about thinking about, before you think it. This will be a huge time saver. I can’t believe no one’s thought of this.

Oh wait. Everybody does this already. Every time you stare blankly into the fridge. Every time you walk into a room, look around, and walk right back out. Every time you open you’re mouth, blink owlishly, and close it right back up. My bad.

    I don’t know what I was thinking.

    Thanks for reminding me,

We say שלש שוטפות באדם one of them being Hashem

We also say that Hashem is bound by his Torah

If that’s the case how can there be ממזרים? There’s an אסור of making them!

If this is what now passes for humor or satire, it going to be a long 5782….

rumors of your early demise have been greatly exagerated, we can count on a few months of silence followed by some drivel.

5782 was pretty long already. Working on 5783 now.

Midwest…in our hashkafah, the book doesn’t close on 5782 for another week or so but agree that 5783 will be longer than usual (even w/o and Adar sheini).

The term satire is at least superficial similar to a type of עבודה זרה, and must be avoided at all costs, with the proceeds dedicated to a הכנסת כלה fund for Ukrainian refugees from Umam, and any money leftover for the children and grandchildren of the most worth בעלי יחוס.

    Another thought

בית הלל & בית שמאי agree that it’s better if a person wasn’t created, but Hashem is the ultimate מטיב so obviously it’s better to be created, what’s the שאלה?

@coffeaddict the gemara says “noiach leodom” a person would rather… not if its better. thats your question answered…

So then let me rephrase the question

Why would a person rather not be created if Hashem created him and He’s the ultimate מיטב why would we not want the ultimate good done to us?

We may not see and understand it as good does not mean that its not good.
To your other question, why don’t you have this issue with every aveirah that anything can not take place without the rotzon haboreh including this persons aveira, and hashem himself is bound to the torah… look at rashi what sholosh shutfim beodom means and also take time to understand what the issur is by your case of mamzer and with all the above your answer is self understood.

my opinions expressed within the contents of the CR are solely the author’s and do not necesssarily reflect the opinions and beliefs of the website or other users.
Of course the OP suffers from mutiple personality disorder so he can only speak for himself one personality at a time.

The Ben Ish Chai questions why mitzvos must be done through actions, deeds and not enough to be thinking? He gives a mashel where a wife serves her husband a stuffed chicken, so he says why don’t you put pepper into it. She thinks, if he likes pepper so much, I will fill it up with just pepper. Thought is too strong to stand on its own. It must be applied to something. Maybe Adam Harishon before his sin, did do mitzvos through thought. The Ksav Sofer said about the reformers that their good heart causes a heart attack, because the heart can’t take all.

an old thought just popped into my thinking brain:
it’s not the cough that carries you off, it’s the coffin they carry you off in
