Does a slow cooker / crock-pot liner need a kosher certification?
I’ve been using Reynolds Slow Cooker Liners, which have an OU hecksher.
I’ve seen a generic brand of liners, with no hecksher. Can they be used?
Call the Star-K. They have on their “No Hechsher Required” page — ‘Plastic wraps, bags do not need a hechsher even for hot”
I would stay away from generic liner’s for health reasons. I know people who refuse to use any liner , kosher or not for health reasons.
