what are the latest signs of moshiach’s arrival?
who has currently the potential to be moshiach?Rav Chaim, Skulener Rebbe, Rav Edelstein, Gerrer Rebbe, etc. Klal Yisroel B”H has many worthy candidates.
The gemora says that one of the signs of Moshiach is when the young have no respect for the elderly.
Sadly, with the sinas chinam exhibited almost daily in comments here by certain posters, hard to imagine we will be reading sightings of moishiach ridiing a white donkey heading down Eastern Parkway, or for that matter, anywhere else. As to who has the “potential” to be moishiach, I’m not sure chazal bring down that the decision is like some voting on American Idol, where yidden get to vote fo their favorite rebbe .
There is a joke about this where someone says I found a job that doesn’t pay much but it is steady. What is it? I am on a lookout tower waiting for Moshiach.
