    Are there any references to shooting stars from the Jewish perspective? Do they mean a good sign or bad? Or anything at all?

    When people die a Bracha is also made.

    Just because a Bracha is made on something does not make it good.

    Far be it from me to argue with You. I am honored that You decided to respond to me, but….

    1: I would have brought a rainbow as the counter-example.

    2: Dayan HaEmes is exactly that, that Judgement was done by the Judge. We only see that as “bad” (and yes, I am getting esoteric).
