    Hello all

I am currently a 10th grade in the states of USA. I have autism and im part bipolar, I am in a PDD classroom

I kicked my friend because i was pissed at him for making a rude comment to me. My teacher(s) saw me kick him. But also saw him call me a name. But he was forced to apoligze to me. As for me i was shoved in a corner and two teachers pushed me down to sit in the corner.i was held back with my arms when one teacher pulled my chair out and started untieing my shoes, then she took them off my feet. Where she threw them out of my site.

Scince i am in a PDD Classroom all day i was shoeless except for lunchtime when i went to eat but when i came back from lunch i had to give up my shoes again but i was pretty comfortable because i wore hanes crew white socks w/ the red label.

Has anyone had this problm to you/ your kid?

The teacher had no right to hold your arms and remove your shoes.

You were physically assaulted, and should hire a competent attorney and sue the teacher & the school for having been assaulted and touched you.

The way you were handled/touched is simply not acceptable.

147 – you have obviously never worked with children with autism.

I have never heard of a PDD classroom since most PDD kids are mainstreamed where I come from. There are many autism classrooms though and although I cannot speak for this scenario, and I don’t even know if there was such a scenario, I have been in many situations that sound exactly as described and the reason the chair is pulled away and the shoes are taken off is because they are being hurled into peoples abdomens. They get them back when they are back in control.

Don’t be so quick to assume you have a clue. Most one sided stories are one sided.
