    any recommendations about how to get good shiurim to listen to in the car and what are good shiurim to listen to? i want to start listening to them on the way to college.

    ou.org has excellent shiurim online. try rabbo moshe elefant daf yomi shiur. terrific.

    I charge for it, so I can’t really post the number. Not sure how I could get the number to you, but first let me know if this is something you’d be willing to pay for, because if not, it’s irrelevant.

    Sparkly, one thing I can do if you’re interested in listening to one free shiur: I have one free shiur on Elul/Yomim Noraim that I let people listen to for free. I think you would really like it! It happens to be that I always get a lot of positive feedback on that particular shiur.

    I have to look for the number. I don’t mind posting the number for that particular shiur.

    Sparkly, I don’t have a site. I do have one phone number & pin number for one shiur that I can give you for free. I will bli neder find it and tell you what it is.

    when a person goes somewhere that their not use to they feel like a fish out of water since i HAVENT been to a bais yaakov environment in YEARS i felt like a fish out of water when i went to the shiur!!

    Go to TorahAnytime.com. A great range of shiurim, and I would think you may enjoy listening to Rabbi Wallerstein. They have good Apple and android apps for downloading shiurim.

    Sparkly – my personal opinion is that it’s better for you to go to the shiur than not to go to the shiur. But I imagine you will feel more comfortable if you don’t feel like a fish out of water, and if you do dress somewhat more similarly to the way the others are.

    Yosher koach for going to the shiur!!! That sounds like a big step! How was it?
