One of my friends is speaking at a sheva brochos on Shabbos, and is looking desparately for something to say.
He thinks that he has a starting point for a light, humorous speech but he doesn’t know exactly what to say:
In this weeks Parsha, we see Hashem came to Avrohom and asked “Why did Sarah laugh…”
Why did Hashem go to Avrohom? We see that a husband is responsible for his wifes actions (Mikdash Levi)
He wants to continue by ‘explaining’ why a husband should be responsible, or with some form of advice to the Chasan.
Any ideas? Or other ‘toradike’ topics that can be light and humorous?
