Now that we are already on the 4th days of this Shemitta year, and I cannot work on [what was] my field [now the field is Hefker for Shemitta] I have a lot more time on my hands to learn in the Bais Medrash and to send posts in the coffee room.
Please post here each day a new shtickel Torah you learnt in the Beis Medrash that day!
How do you make parnassa during this year to feed your family and pay the rent/mortgage?
Q: if a branch of a tree is hanging down and in the way, is one allowed to cut it? Can one pull out a blade of grass for no reason (discussing Shemitta only and not killing Malachim)?
If someone wanted to rob a bank on shabbos, could he kill the bank guards and all the workers and customers with an automatic submachine gun, in order to make it easier for him to get the money? Would the gun be muktzah or is it called “kli shemalachto l’ssur letzorech gufo? [DISCUSSING HILCHOS MUKTZAH ONLY, not killing…]
