Did anyone ever go to the Shell-To-Go Gas Station in Monsey? They have a full dairy menu inside. Breakfast specials in the morning, 3 different types of tuna, egg salad, avacado, ready made sandwiches & salads, create-your-own salad, at least 5 different slush flavors, fresh bakery in the morning – donuts, danishes etc…, coffee, ice coffee, all the jewish magazines and newspapers, (chulent, parve yapchik, & kugel on wednesday, thursdays and fridays) & much more!! Everyone please comment what you think about this place!!

December 21, 2011 11:23 pm at 11:23 pm #838120dash™ParticipantI view food at gas stations as time savers. I never would go to a gas station just for the food.
December 22, 2011 2:36 am at 2:36 am #838121apushatayidParticipantDoes this Shell station sell gas?
December 22, 2011 1:19 pm at 1:19 pm #8381222scentsParticipantThis sounds like a free advertisement.
I have been to this particular gas station. Why should the fact that there is a lot of fast food be significant?
December 22, 2011 3:10 pm at 3:10 pm #838123mytakeMemberYes, it’s a great place and getting quite popular around here.

December 22, 2011 5:46 pm at 5:46 pm #838125✡onegoal™ParticipantRB- I got the impression he was disagreeing. I disagree because there are people like me who live in a hick town like Chicago, and we are amazed by such things.
December 22, 2011 5:52 pm at 5:52 pm #8381262scentsParticipantIt’s so obvious that this IS an advertisement.
I agree with you RB.

I’d considure it more of a testimonial based on other threads started by the OP.

so its kugel without the meat? so its kugel…
December 22, 2011 6:42 pm at 6:42 pm #838129Raphael KaufmanMemberParve Ypachik – kugel with tofu
December 22, 2011 7:24 pm at 7:24 pm #838130apushatayidParticipantOr, perhaps pareve meat (soy?).
December 22, 2011 7:36 pm at 7:36 pm #8381312scentsParticipantdash:
Please explain, its a gas station and takeout combined, nothing special of either one.
Gas is not cheap (actually its more expensive than its competitions)
food is Milchig/Pareve (as is evident from the Pareve Yaptchik)
One thing that it does have is a nice hang out. .
December 26, 2011 1:37 am at 1:37 am #838132Nisht Ahe Nisht AherMemberBtw, I have nothing to do with this Shell Gas Station that I would want to advertise for them!
