A few weeks ago someone posted a request for some very qualified, reasonably priced sheitel machers/hair stylists in Boro Park area who are home for the summer.
Does anyone know of some who work Sundays and evenings and not impossible to obtain an appointment who comes with a good recommendation?
Thanks.

She cuts beautifully, and her sets lasts and lasts for a long time. She is very reasonable and ehrlich. I have been using her since 1982. I do not live in NY anymore and I have sent in sheitals from Europe to her and she does them gorgeous. She works every day except Fridays. She works on Sundays. She will even set and you can pick up all ready, if that is what you want.
Much Hatzlacha!

The reason why I know is because I had to drive her there on a regular basis to get it redone, and fixed up!!! I just can’t remember the name. But I think it’s best that I dont!!

Remember an abundance of HAGEFEN for all! Have a smooth Le Chaim … Which single malt will it be… or is it Bourbon, (which I hate)!
Putting My 2 cents in: Seriously try Sara Stern, she is geshicked, reliable, and great and above all, VERY REASONABLE!!!!!
Let us know how you got on. Hatzlacha!

I know, I know. Beleive me, the minute I start saying “l’Dovid” I’m in teshuva mode. And when the 1st day of Selichos arrive, its full throttle!
August 24, 2011 8:10 pm at 8:10 pm #801629The Best BubbyParticipantBPT: You are lucky you are not Sephardi, as then you would have to say selichot from 1st day Rosh Chodesh Elul until Erev Yom Kippur!!!!! In fact, the Livorno minhag (Italian – like Sir Moses Montefiore’s Z’TL minhag), say selichot on Shabbos, and Rosh Hashana. These particular selichot are not like the tachanun ones, but singing with melodies from way back when. Count yourself lucky that you don’t have to stay up an extra 3 weeks or so! By the way, I am a full blown Galizianer and very proud of it! Zai gezunt and gebenched and let us greet Moshiach with much achdus between all the Yidden immediately! Amen!

Yes, I know. I have many SY friends, and I always tease them, this is the price you pay for eating rice on Pesach and soft matzos!
August 25, 2011 5:09 am at 5:09 am #801631The Best BubbyParticipantBPT: Some Sephardim eat rice on Pesach, i.e. the ones from Iraq, or from Burma, or India, as that is what they eat mostly every single day. Others don’t such as the Morrocons, Tunisians etc. All Sephardim eat hand shmura matza on Pesach. I am sure the dentists are happy for the extra work after Pesach!
