Hi,
I m looking for some information for my oldest daughter who will be going to seminary next year BH.
We are looking at:
Ateres Bais Yaacov
Me’orh Bais Yaaciv
Bnos Chava
Also, do you have some info about Hadar Bais Yaacov and Nachlas Bais Yaacov?
Thanks for your help. She is our oldest and we are quite lost… 🙂October 23, 2018 3:38 pm at 3:38 pm #1609728MenoParticipantHave you looked into Bnos Popa?

October 23, 2018 4:30 pm at 4:30 pm #1609774MalachOfCholentParticipanti had cousins in Nachlas and Hadar, great places, they enjoyed every minute,
i heard a lot about the others too, and a family member of mine works at Meohr.what kind of information are you looking for?
they are all really good places some more yeshivish some with more of a mix.
maybe any of your daughters teachers can know enough about them while knowing your daughter too and help with the decision, isn’t that what they all do with the girls in 12th grade?October 23, 2018 5:19 pm at 5:19 pm #16097801ParticipantDon’t go to sem. You’ll get brainwashed. Save your parents $20.000 and listen to lectures instead.

October 23, 2018 8:48 pm at 8:48 pm #1609888knaidlachParticipantmy daughters gained so much from seminary. and then they use it in building and establishing their own home.
October 23, 2018 8:55 pm at 8:55 pm #1609881TalmidchochomParticipantSeminary in Israel is a scam that many will have to answer for. Putting parents in debt so they can have their daughter go to Israel is wrong and anti-Torah. Females are not required to learn Torah and therefore have no need to spend 11 months in Israel having a fun time while the parents back home toil to pay the tuition for this carnival. Seminary is nothing but a carnival for which administrators, executive directors, etc. will have to klap a lot of viduy.
Send your daughter for six weeks in Israel if you want them to have a good time there.
October 23, 2018 10:14 pm at 10:14 pm #16099021ParticipantPretty sure you need tools to build a home
October 24, 2018 6:17 am at 6:17 am #1610010TalmidchochomParticipantCant obtain those tools in the US?
October 24, 2018 7:06 am at 7:06 am #1609965MalachOfCholentParticipantgood one syag.
she should most definitly go to seminary, anyone who talks about brainwash -was not in one or didnt see the growth their family member had from it.
well i did. they learn values and tools for buliding a jewish home-(that is if shes not one of the girls just goiing to get away from her parents and do what she wants.)
girls may not need to learn torah but seminary puts a main point on hashkafah-in todays world it’s so hard to keep your hashkafa streight.
judith- naysayers were always around , do what is best for your daughter.October 24, 2018 7:17 am at 7:17 am #1610014MalachOfCholentParticipanttalmid chochom-ever heard of ”avira deeretz yisrael machkim”?
October 24, 2018 9:21 am at 9:21 am #1610037TalmidchochomParticipantMalachofcholent,
Show me where that is said in regards to females learning Torah.
October 24, 2018 9:40 am at 9:40 am #1610101MalachOfCholentParticipantAs i said seminary is not about learning torah for the girls but more hashkafah and tools for building a jewish torah home.
I don’t see why the air in eretz yisrael can’t affect women if it affects men.October 24, 2018 10:39 am at 10:39 am #16101711ParticipantHome depot, Loews, etc.
