guys im really depressed cuz i applied to bjj and they sent me back a response that said im on their waiting list which really means i wasnt accepted. I need a boost 🙁
well my sister applied 2 but stil didnt get a reply
It is really hard getting rejected from a school you thought you would or should get into.
I don’t think there is much I could say that would make it easier.
The only thing that helps is sympathy.

i think it means you are on their waiting list.
and if you are high enough up on the list and enough already accepted applicants choose another seminary, you will be accepted.
how did u get urs already? our sem letters arent coming to us till this thurs im”H, and don’t worry about it, obviously you were not meant to go there 🙁
Did you apply to other seminaries? BJJ is very hard to get into.
Alot of girls applied to mesores rochel and bjj with mesores rochel being their preference so theoretically if you are on the waiting list you may very well get in. Hopefully you applied to more than one school and you will enjoy being in eretz hakdosha no matter what school you end up in.

apply to alot of sems and you will get accepted somewhere. dont worry

Don’t be depressed about not getting into a seminary. The same applies to boys trying to get into brand name yeshivos in Eretz Yisroel. First it may be because you don’t have pull that other do. If this is what is important to get in(pull in the name of money or right last name) then the seminary or yeshiva does not stand for the values it is supposed to provide. And probably you are better than alot who are/were accepted.
Just returned from Eretz and passed by one of the hard to get into yeshivos. Well, when i passed there were too many out in front either smoking, on their cell phones . Is this what their parents sent them to Eretz for?Is this what some parents second mortgage their homes for?
If you stay here in U.S.A., go to a seminary here and start some other courses to get you a degree in an area of interest to you, you will be way ahead than many of your classmates who are going to Eretz. Many girls will later admit that they were forced to go because of shidduch reasons and regret wasting their time. Many girls are away from home and if their parents would put a private dedective on them , they would see it was money wasted and current heartache.
It is a very small percentage that really go sincerely and have “tachlis” and the question is are you one of those girls? If yes, you will be accepted I”H. Hatzlocha Rabboh!!

That’s really hard. I didnt get accepted to any of the sems that I applied to and guess what, it ended up being an unbeleivable year! Hashem put me in the best place for me and it really was a turning point in my life. Dont feel so bad, you’ll see it will work out for your best.

clearly a troll of some sort because the acceptance/”rejection” letters are coming the 25th and NO ONE applies to BJJ ONLY. Everyone knows that no matter what a top girl you are the chances of getting in are pretty slim

I applied to bjj and mesores rochel in eretz yisroel and bnos chaim seminary in lakewood.My friends and i are eagerly awaiting for acceptance to bnos chaim so we can get the full seminary experience without having to leave the country.
I can’t tell you how I know this without blowing my identity, but BJJ has not even sent out their letters yet. Chayav, it’s not very considerate of you to get people into a frenzy for not having received their letters yet. You should really think twice before starting a thread like this.

Well, I am Rebbetzin David and I did send some out to the very special people who I want to waitlist. If they send in a Letter of Continued Interest in the next few days, then I am going to accept them. Except chayav. She also has to promise to not drink anymore during the week.

i believed chayav in the beginning – thought it was a sister or something, but as someone said, nobody applies to only bjj – and if you do aplly to bjj, you don’t write on the cr – “what’s wrong with watching movies?”
chayav, i’m sure you know the story of the bubby… i mean boy who cried wolf. if you continue like this, then one day, chas v’shalom you’ll really have a problem, and no one in the cr will believe you.

I am going to be dan chayav lecaf zechus and say that maybe the name is shared by a family. the name was probably chosen by a bochur but is used by anyone in the family who wants to comment. YWN does not allow multiple user names for the same email address and if the family shares one then they have to share coffee room logons also.

first of all that is not true cuz me, my mother, and my brother all have seperate screen names and passwords even though we are in the same house using the same computer. Second of all even if chayiv is a girl that whole thing is a lie. I know for a fact that bjj didnt send ANYONE their letters yet! Ateres Meohr and Seminar are out but Bjj is definatly not!!!! Sorry to burst your bubble though… And even if you didnt get your letter yet, please dont be nervous, what ever is meant to happen will no matter what! you will get it within the few days, and if you dont for some reason,just ask your teacher or principal if you got in

candy613 – you say that you, your mother and brother all have different screen names from the same computer. But are you all using the same email address? My daughter and i also have different screen names from the same computer but different emails. I think commonsense is right about ywn not allowing different screen names on the same email address.

My daughter and her friends did NOT receive their responses from MeOhr yet-not until the 24th. Not Bnos Chava yet either.
