Hi is anyone familiar with the source of saying sefer tehilim at chatzos on purim night as a segula for finding a shidduch? Also does it mean to begin saying the tehilim at chatzos or complete it by then? Thanks for your help!

Agreed. I get so drunk that I pass out and cannot do anything stupid. People who are half drunk do stupid things like driving. I wouldn’t even know what to do with the steering wheel.

RT: There are (two, precisely, a Sefer Chassidim and a Machzor Vitry) sources in the Rishonim for drinking Purim night. That doesn’t give people a legitimate excuse to get retardedly drunk though.
It may be that these mekorot are referring to the night into Shushan Purim. IMHO the Elya Rabba does not mention drinking on Megilla Night.

I think the source of the segulah is a CR thread from a year or two ago. But I could be wrong, it has already happened once before.

I said all of sefer Tehillim last year on Purim night. It took me about six hours. I’m still single.

aidea: You start to say the whole sefer Tehillim AFTER Chatzot (find out your local time in your city, on Wednesday night), and continue to say until you finish the whole sefer with one bakasha.

The source for davening at chatzos (any day) is no less than a ???? in ?”?) ???? ????) . This special ?? ???? lasts for 2 hours. So although the entire Purim is a ?? ???? , this is the highest point of any day. And just because you said tehillim last year does not mean you have not yet been answered. It means only that you have not yet seen or been shown the answer! May you be ???? to see it ?????!
