A friend of mine, a single girl in her mid-twenties, is highly experienced as a teacher (boys schools as well as girls) and seminary madricha. She is very talented and has directed plays and another events. Recently located to Lakewood, she is Looking for a teaching or long term subbing job any age level , Hebrew or English or extra-curricular faculty advisor.
If she can get her hands on a Lakewood List (also known locally
as a “Baltimore phone book” [the people who make it live there]), she can start getting the local publications and looking at their classified sections.
I thought the Lakewood List (it’s actually made for people who live in Baltimore) had a list of numbers to call to receive the local
publications, but the ones I have in the house don’t. Can anyone from Lakewood remember where the text “Some say you’re not an official Lakewood resident until you’ve made these four phone calls” comes from?
