Why cannot there be a search engine to find topics or lost threads?
use google…or a google custom search or in inurl: parameter

Look at the top of the main coffee room page and you will see a sticky thread that says “Searching CR for Old Threads.” click on that and it will take you to a search engine for the CR
Original thinker there is a stickied thread (on the top of the main cr page) that has a link in the first post to a yeshiva world google search. I dont find it works always so I actually usually do a regular google search writing yeshiva world followed by some key words of the thread name. So for this thread for example I would google “yeshiva world search engine coffee room”. It always works! Yogaata umotzaasa taamin.
You apparently did not try my tip to you in the second half of my post. Try it and give me feedback here. It works every time. But make sure you spell exactly as they appear in the titles so look out for misspellings!
