I want to try dating some more modern guys but not that modern. Would they have good learning boys on saw you at sinai (at least yu type of learning boys)? Does it cost money?
I think they may have the type of boy you are looking for/that would be good for you.
Just make sure you explain clearly to the matchmakers what you are looking for. And most importantly, make sure that you check out the guys VERY CAREFULLY! This is always very important in any case, but it is particularly so with a system in which the shadchanim have never actually met either you or the guy and may know nothing about him.
There is no way to know if anything he wrote about himself is true, and there is no way to know if he is really Frum or normal, etc. So checking it out is VERY important. And don’t just rely on the references that he gives. Try to figure out who else might know him (people that you know or at least know of).
You might want to try YUconnects instead of SawYouAtSinai. It is part of SawYouAtSinai and is the exact same thing. Despite the name, there are plenty of guys and girls on it who never went to YU.
