We have the generic china seder plate(made in Israel) with the illustrated hagaddah on the sides (ex. Pharoah with frogs on him and with boils). I am sure some of you know what I am referring to. Anyway for the past couple of years we noticed that while sitting in the china cabinet the saltwater dish seems to generate little white curls(like shedding). I have no idea what causes this or what it is. Has this happened to anyone else? Anyone know what it is?
Poppa, we always wash it well and it does not start doing this right away. We keep our seder plate and the little dishes for each object that goes on it in the china cabinet/breakfront so we can see a couple months after pesach it starts doing this. I clean it off and a couple weeks-months later…its back. I have no idea how to stop it. Gumball, I also figured it might be a reaction from the salt.
