Hey. So I have 2 questions:

    A) Does anyone know of a good chemistry book/ review for the regent book or website? I am desperate. Thanks.

    B) What is a good diet? (I’ve been on Weight Watchers before)I really want to lose weight. Something doable for a 16 year old and something that really works. Thanks so much:)

Walk around the block increasing the distance every other day. Around one block for two days, then around two blocks for two days, then one block morning, and two blocks evening for days five and six. Then seven and eight, two blocks morning and two blocks night, and increase from there.

    a) I tutor chemistry. Sharon Welcher’s book is the best on the market. Harnick on Ave. J, a”h, once sold it. Now, I believe Barnes and Noble in Park Slope sells it.

    b) Weight Watchers is good, and offers a lot for the non-CY kosher keeper (they’re foods are available widely and almost are all OU). Regardless, eat lots of fruits and veggies and limit bread to Shabbos. Allow yourself “cheats” as your oneg shabbos, but watch what you eat the rest of the week.

I feel that teenagers, and I am assuming you are in tenth grade, should be more focused on healthy eating and exercising than dieting on programs such as weight watchers. I have occasional weight problems myself, and when I go slightly over weight, I know I am not exercising enough. I walk on a typical day 7-8 miles to keep my metabolism going (I am 19 years old), when I was younger, I would walk like ten miles every shabbos (day!!). Sometimes, I can still find time to walk ten miles, but I never walk the whole thing at once. I walk maybe two miles every couple of hours, it takes me 20 minutes per mile, sometimes less. Power walk whenever possible, it really makes the difference.

10 miles at 20 minutes a mile comes out to 3 hours s and 20 minutes. You spend over 3 hours a day walking? That’s extreme. But hey if it keeps you fit and you have the time kol hakavod.

Don’t worry, I eat so much food I have no choice… I don’t have a gym membership… I wanna start lifting weights again, but I don’t have any.

I started walking 10 miles a day a few weeks ago. Now I’m hopelessly lost. I think I’m somewhere in Virginia. I need new shoes but I don’t have Confederate money to pay for new ones. Next time I’ll try walking in your shoes. This way, if you try to Chase me to steal my credit cards you won’t have shoes so won’t be able to catch up.

They say try to walk a mile in somebody’s shoes, that way when you get them angry they’ll be a mile away AND you’ll have their shoes! Lol. But seriously, it totally worked for my sister, I still have her shoes!

Anyway I also need a good diet…anybody know how to lose 50 pounds in a month???????? Ok…maybe not a month… 3-4 months….and where I can get good excersises besides the ones in familyfirst…and like how much I should walk a day….I can do 10 miles a week but every day?????? I do have the time but…..hasten dosent want us to walk 10 miles a day, maybe 1-3 but we have better things to do than spending 3 hours walking a day…..
