random question: someone in school goes home whenever she can. If theres any reason for her to get out of it, (a period off for something,) she’ll go home and then come back right before she has to. A few weeks ago (gotta lay low) she asked me to borrow my metrocard to go home, because she didnt have enough fares to do so many rides. question: is this halachicly OK? and am I becoming her “partner in crime” by giving it to her. She is technically supposed to be in school the entire day.
kapusta: are you asking about her using your metrocard, that’s the issue?! or her skipping class & you helping her!?
shes not skipping class (at least not on my metrocard) shes not supposed to go home in the midle of the day and miss whatever it is.

kinda. shes not missing class over it. I feel like I’m doing something wrong by giving it to her. Also the MTA does not provide me with extra rides so she can go home at her leisure.
kapusta: about lending metrocards, i always got one, but never really used it! i was driven to school always & usually found a ride home too! so many times i lend out mine! it was my chessed! but if i say went to kings plaza after yeshiva by regent time, i felt i shouldn’t be using my metrocard for that!

Why should there be anythihng wrong with lending a metrocard? (I dont get those things. Do you get a number fo rides or is it unlimited?)
