    Do a random act of kindness in AYC’s honor and come back here to share it hopefully we will merit his return to the coffee room.

    I let someone with just a couple items go ahead of me at the grocery store.

    I usually dont post, but read the cr all the time. I have been following the parsha of AYC pretty much the entire time. Now if I would be AYC I would never come back with that name again. If I would want to come back I would just open a new username and post on that one. My personal thought; I think AYC is among us and posting under a different name, but I may be wrong.

    Well, the person who loves doing acts of kindness the most is ayc himself. Look how many kindnesses he has done here in the coffeeroom!

    So I will say this LOUD AND CLEAR: AYC if you really are reading this, please do us the ultimate act of kindness and POST IN!

    The mod did say when he temporarily blocked you that he was sure it was a mistake and that by the next week we would all be laughing about it. So make us laugh… POST IN!

    Ayc, it would be great to have her back! She’s missed around the place, but we can understand why she won’t come back… although rochelle – you’re idea is a great one! Try telling her that though, once burnt, twice careful.. Ayc – at least know that you’re thought about and missed over here!

    I did a random act of kindness this week and I got no thank you it made me think about why we do chesed is it for the gratitude?, the schar?, or just because it makes us feel good to do something nice for someone and perhaps the thought that they will pay it forward.

    Given the opportunity I would do this chesed for this person again its for my benefit as well as theirs.

    its a very good question,

    i would think that even if the other person wasnt thankful you should still do it, take an example from Hashem who does millions of chassidim for everyone yet not everyone thanks him
