Do you truly enjoy the flavor of vanilla more than the flavor of chocolate, or do you simply prefer the sweetness of vanilla over the slight bitterness of chocolate?

Ironically, many chocolate dessert recipes include vanilla to enhance the taste.
Sometimes I like the taste of vanilla so at that point yes I do enjoy that flavor over chocolate. However, I still prefer mint.

Vanilla is just so delicious and tastes like anything and everything creamy and fresh in my pallet. I love it. Especially with vanilla specks.

I prefer vanilla, simply because I do not like chocolate ice cream- my one exception to the chocolate is great rule. but I must confess that vanilla tastes even better with chocolate syrup or fudge over it. So yes, I guess that makes me inconsistent.

I never order a chocolate ice cream or eat a plain chocolate bar.
Chocolate is ok if it is used as a delivery media for nuts…thus a chocolate bar containing almonds is just fine.Mrs. CTL loves to bake, I repeatedly ask her not to use chocolate frosting as then I won’t eat the cake. She says that’s why she deliberately uses chocolate frosting

Chocolate ice cream does not taste the same way as chocolate.🍫
