i heard that if you are going to get a vista comp make sure you have at least 2 gb of ram because vista runs a lot of side programs that if you dont have a decent amount of memory it will slow things down significantly
qwertyuiop: with emails from others that don’t have vista, it gets complicated to get some emails from them!!! i think there’s another thread on vista!!!
Vista is clear to use. Everything is right in front of you. It’s basically the same as the others. Do they sell computers that aren’t vista. I just bought a laptop and the ones that i looked at (which was a lot) were only vista.
I got a laptop with Windows Vista around a year or two ago, and miss my old laptop (which had XP) dearly. I find Vista to be much slower, but I do believe that they might have improved it since it first came out…
From what I’ve heard, on the whole people were much happier with XP than they are with Vista.
For running Vista, you should be running a dual-core processor, and at least 2GB of RAM.
However, Windows 7, which should hopefully be being released by the end of the year, will run a lot faster than Vista on the same system specifications
