My boss (a non jew) came over to me today and told me he had had a frum customer and the item he was buying was ringing up at $3.00 the bochur told him it was listed on the shelf as $3.25 his change from the purchase was 79 cents but my boss rounded up to 80 he refused to take the extra cent and instead gave my boss the nickel back my boss explained he could not open the register to give him the 4 cents the bochur said its ok I cant take what is not mine.
Today I saw a major kiddush Hashem in shul when an elderly yid came to daven during a full house, all seats occupied, and no less than 6 yidden immediately got up to give him their seat. There was almost an argument between them as to who should have the “privilege” of giving him their seat!
