a small poem I wrote when I heard about the terrible tragedy:
Three sweet boys each so special in their own way
their very presence brightened every day
Still in their youth though they accomplished so much
leaving a spark and an everlasting touch
So innocently taken on that fateful day
we hoped and we prayed that everything would be okay
But now as the news was drawn to our ears
we must unite, hold hands, and wipe away our tears
We must hold on to the closeness and stay together as one
holding strong until this bitter galus is done
Let’s stay strengthened and remember these boys who were a source of light
and use this as a tool to stand up and fight
Let’s scream out together, pray and cry out
storm the heavens above as together we shout
Let’s use this tragedy as a tool to rise and soar
climbing great heights, reaching more and more
May our actions be a source of strength and nechama
and for the boys be an aliyas neshama
