i am can get an upgrade in a few weeks with AT&T and i was wondering what type of phone you people have and if you are happy with it? heres my story with phones….i have always had Nokia phones and loved them bec they do what you need w/o being weird and annoyin-ive had the nokia 6126 for like 2 years(i kept getting the same one over and over) and loved it….then a few weeks ago i got a new phone (for the people who are confused – there are a bunch of people on my family plan that dont know what to do with a phone and are happy with phone from 10 years ago-so i get their upgrades) the nokia 6650, which was supposed to be an upgrade from what i had, and i hate it, it seems that they tried to hard to make it a cool phone-but failed, you can not personalize the buttons and there is no shortcut to the address book(if you press down you cant get to your contacts) and the calender is always on the front, so u cant put any personal things on it……….all i want in a phone is a good phone-i dont need a music phone or a qwerty keypad or any extras all i use my phone for is calling, texting, reminders, pictures, and alarm clock

May 25, 2009 12:25 am at 12:25 am #646537JaxMembercoke not pepsi: i have at&t also, and have the motorola razor phone! great phone, i love all the features on ot, not too complicated, not too slim though! i’m actually up for an upgrade, and like i once said before want a qwerty phone! check out at&t’s website to see all the phones! i’m thinking of getting the newest samsung phone actually!
May 25, 2009 12:46 am at 12:46 am #646538coke not pepsiMemberdon’t razors have bad battery life?
I had a razr and two other motorola phones. we just traded in the motorola Razr for a samsung and I will not get new motorolas when the other phones are due for an upgrade – my experience shows that the battery life of a motorola is not good. YW Moderator
May 25, 2009 12:47 am at 12:47 am #646539oomisParticipantCNP, I’ll have to take a look and get back to you. I haven’t got the phone on me right now, as I lent it to my son.
May 25, 2009 3:05 am at 3:05 am #646540shaatraMemberI highly recomend the kosher phone. 😉 safest choice.
May 25, 2009 3:15 am at 3:15 am #646541JaxMembercoke not pepsi: i actually had no issue with the battery life on mine! i was pretty happy with mine, that’s my opinion! check on the at&t site to read the ratings on the phones!

May 27, 2009 8:30 am at 8:30 am #646544noitallmrParticipantSorry people but what is at&t? Forgive my English ignorance!
And concerning phones- I’d recommend a Nokia 6300/6120 or Blackberry Bold!
I love my tech 😉
May 27, 2009 12:44 pm at 12:44 pm #646545SJSinNYCMemberI have verizon and I have a very simple motorola phone – nothing fancy (unless you count the camera that I barely ever use). Its very basic and was nice and cheap! I don’t know the model though.
May 27, 2009 1:16 pm at 1:16 pm #646546shaatraMemberCoke not pepsi I think u should switch to verizon. They have a bigger variety and much better service. Although if u care, it is more expensive…
May 27, 2009 1:36 pm at 1:36 pm #646547mepalMembernoitallmr, you dont gotta know if they don’t have it in England! What kind of phones DO you have there?
May 27, 2009 1:42 pm at 1:42 pm #646548mepalMemberCNP, just do yourself the greatest favor and get a blackberry! AT&T has a full touch-screen one.
May 27, 2009 2:46 pm at 2:46 pm #646549jphoneMemberGo for the Blackberry. Any model. All great phones and depending on your “other requirements” there are several models to choose from.
May 27, 2009 7:31 pm at 7:31 pm #646550noitallmrParticipantmepal- Well we got normal nice decent phones on decent networks- mine is o2. I can’t believe I’m the only English guy over here…please someone come along (mod39) and speak to me about Orange, 02, Vodaphone etc…
May 27, 2009 7:55 pm at 7:55 pm #646551mepalMembernoitallmr, do they also have this Orange business in Israel? For some odd reason it sounds oddly familiar.
May 27, 2009 8:00 pm at 8:00 pm #646552noitallmrParticipantYup they do- the cheapest network in the country…
May 27, 2009 10:42 pm at 10:42 pm #646553A600KiloBearParticipantBS”D
My first RAZR v3 was awful when it came to battery life, and so was my short lived AMP’D RAZR (remember AMP’D – big haimishe hit because of the deals and despite the entertainment chozzerei they offered but they folded). However my new v3i has much longer battery life and a shorter charge; reasonably priced here and not loaded with features that I will never use.
