Well, when its a nasty old lady that shouldnt be behind the wheel in the first place, causing all the traffic, it takes lots of self control not to honk!

August 4, 2009 6:38 pm at 6:38 pm #997302mepalMember80, please dont become my pet peeve.
August 4, 2009 6:39 pm at 6:39 pm #997303mepalMember…when a moderator takes out the punch line in your post and leaves the rest, usually making you look ‘nebby’ (mod, you can substitute a more appropriate term. Couldn’t think of a better one). Just delete the whole post!
August 4, 2009 6:47 pm at 6:47 pm #997304mepalMemberI wasn’t only referring to you! I saw that other one, thanks for cleaning it up!
August 4, 2009 7:16 pm at 7:16 pm #997305mepalMemberIts a good thing you differentiate yourself by writing in blue! This way there’s no guessing games. (please mods-all the rest of you-let 80 keep it to himself. Dont immitate him now!) We will take your suggestion under consideration and perhaps we will get back to you with an answer
August 4, 2009 7:28 pm at 7:28 pm #997306Mezonos MavenMembermaybe we should all overcome our pet peeves?? now that would be real strength!
August 5, 2009 12:23 am at 12:23 am #997307mepalMemberThere are certain groups of people that really irritate me, one of them being those extremely opinionated people. It is so hard dealing with people that think “its either my way or the high way”! It is so frustrating when you know something but they refuse to be convinced since they think otherwise. And they always think they know best when in fact, they dont necesarily do!
August 5, 2009 3:30 am at 3:30 am #997309jphoneMemberPeople who think they are funny, when they are anything but.
veiled cracks about the moderators will not be tolerated

August 5, 2009 2:17 pm at 2:17 pm #997313mepalMemberJax, I second, or third or whatever that one. Of all things I’d skip when I wake up late, it would never be brushing my teeth! (its usually breakfast)
mods mods mods. Stop playing your games!
August 5, 2009 3:03 pm at 3:03 pm #997314mepalMemberToo true, ames! And those mail-in-rebates, for that matter!
August 5, 2009 3:05 pm at 3:05 pm #997315YW Moderator-72ParticipantCompanies that either do not provide for or charge extra to pay online…
August 5, 2009 3:13 pm at 3:13 pm #997316mepalMemberCompany’s that only offer discounts if done online. If I cant afford the computer, I need the discount 😉
August 5, 2009 3:34 pm at 3:34 pm #997317Dr. PepperParticipantThis never happened to me but I heard that there is a restaurant in midtown that charges employees from certain companies for free delivery!
August 7, 2009 3:53 am at 3:53 am #997318YW Moderator-72Participantwhy do some of the companies that make shampoo and conditioner use the same shape and color of bottles for each… Oh, and don’t say it is written on the bottle, 1) I don’t wear my glasses into the shower and 2) who reads the bottles anyway…
January 1, 2014 8:46 pm at 8:46 pm #997321Ken ZaynMemberSmart amusing threads that dont get looked at for 4 years
January 3, 2014 5:40 pm at 5:40 pm #997322the-art-of-moiParticipantGirls who wear waaaaaaaaaaaay too much makeup.
People who dress their pets- your dog has a natural coat of fur to keep it warm! Give your money to people that REALLY need it- like homeless people. Sometimes these tortured souls dont have more then a ripped pair of jeans and a hoodie if they’re lucky! There are people literally starving in the streets- help them!
January 5, 2014 11:36 am at 11:36 am #997323jewishfeminist02MemberPeople who say things like “I have three brother in laws”
No you DON’T…you have three BROTHERS-IN-LAW…they are three people related the same way, not one person related three different ways! Drives me crazy!!
January 6, 2014 12:48 am at 12:48 am #997324☕ DaasYochid ☕ParticipantSo if my wife’s brother married my sister, would that make him my brother-in-laws?
January 6, 2014 12:56 am at 12:56 am #997325👑RebYidd23ParticipantPeople that use “who” for people and “that” for animals. That’s just snobby. It is correct to use “who” for both, as in “the bird who told me about what happened”.
People who assume that every dog has fur thick enough to protect it from the cold. Some dogs are used to warmer climates.
January 6, 2014 1:24 am at 1:24 am #997326the-art-of-moiParticipantDogs dont need coats or nail polish you sad sad people.
January 6, 2014 2:27 am at 2:27 am #997327👑RebYidd23ParticipantHairless or short-haired dogs sometimes need sweaters. Dogs have the same fur in New York and in Florida, which means the New York ones may need sweaters if they have Florida-style natural coats. As for the nail polish, that is for the owners. What about people who tie ribbons on teddy bears or put flowers on the table? The nail polish is not for the dog, the ribbon is not for the teddy bear, and the flowers are not for the table. It’s all for the owners, and it’s an okay way of having fun, though I take it that you, like me, don’t enjoy these things.
January 6, 2014 2:39 am at 2:39 am #997328the-art-of-moiParticipantWhen I see someone with their dog dressed up I automatically think “Ugh…”
January 6, 2014 4:31 am at 4:31 am #997329👑RebYidd23ParticipantWhat about people who spend excessively on fancy clothing for infants who don;t care how they look?
