Just got a few of this crazy text message
If anyone stops you and asks if you’re interested in some perfume and gives you a paper to smell Please Don’t its a new scam the paper is laced with drugs U’ll pass out so they can rob you or do worse!

Don’t know but id be suspicious of any stranger asking me to sniff paper.
Uh if someone approached me on the street with a paper sprayed with “perfume” to smell-test, I’d run in any case. in fact if any stranger approached me with an offer, esp to test something, outside a mall or costco, i’d run
When you right these beware stuff tell us where we should beware.
Example if this is happening in NY and lets say I lived in Tokyo or something, then how am I supposed to know its not meant for me! Please write it next time.

Ask if you can hold the paper. Run to a public safe place. Call the police and give them the paper.

I believe this is a hoax. Check with Snopes, it’s an oldie.

some guy came u to me today, and shoved a clipboard in front of me. He was collecting for children in Africa, but my first thought before i saw the paper was ”perfume sample!”. He was probably confused why i was grinning while glancing at the ad
This warning is a hoax from many years ago that resurfaces from time to time.

An idea isn’t enough, they’d have to get a drug that’s powerful enough to knock someone out but still be able to handle it without hazmat gear.
