I am a warm and friendly loner. I love people, but am not a party animal (though I like them once in a while). I love to have company for Shabbos and Yom Tov, or a nice BBQ, but I also enjoy my own company with a good book.

mods- its about if you are party type or loner….
I can go both ways. Depends where I am and who I’m with. I’ve been told sometimes I’m too much of a loner, and others times I’m too socially comfortable.
i am definitely a party type more of the time but sometimes I also need my space

was wondering the same thing. maybe he means not being shy when he should be like around certain adults or things
Sorry for the confusion..What I meant by too socially comfortable is that I can be comfortable talking to complete strangers, men and women, all ages, all nationalities. I don’t really have boundaries in that regard.
OK, now I see where this is headed.
I like a crowd, and enjoy being invited by / inviting people. But if I find myself with an empty afternoon (halevi!) I don’t feel the need to hook up with friends.
When I need to show my face at a dinner or wedding where I don’t necessarily know a whole lotta people, the 1st thing my wife asks is, “who did you sit with?”
My answer: Mr. 9″ plate. (who, by the way, kept me very entertained!)

Funny you should say that, because I’ve heard women say they need a partner to go to a shuir. Which I cannot understand, because the whole point of going to a shiur is to listen, not talk. So whats the point of going with a friend? It only encourages you to talk during the shiur (go figure)

Ahh. In that case, perhaps I’m a little of both. This is a tough question how to define myself. Of course wherever I go I have my CR friends partying with me even when I’m alone on the range where the deer and kimosabe play

I’m more of a loner.. I like my space & quiet time after a B’H eventful life. (what a long, strange trip it’s been!). but I very much enjoy family get-togethers/parties. & I have no problem not knowing anyone @ a simcha.. I’ll be cordial… especially if I’m having a cordial ;-D
I think most people have a little of both. there are some people that are towards one extreme but not everything
