The seventh Trust: That one should trust in The King The King of Kings Who Rules Over Everything Blessed be He, that He will bring in his [referring back to the person doing the trusting] days salvation to Israel and He will establish Jerusalem and build the Holy Temple in his [referring back to the person doing the trusting] days.

March 8, 2015 11:08 am at 11:08 am #1070424Daniel Q BlogMember????? – I am not holding in Orchos Tzadikim (unfortunately) but I think it means in his days ie the one who is believing. Ie he will bring salvation in his days and the building of Jerusalem/Temple in his days.
Am I missing something?
March 8, 2015 2:03 pm at 2:03 pm #1070425Patur Aval AssurParticipantYes, it means in the days of the one who is believing. My question is since when is there an idea of believing that it will happen in you days? It doesn’t make sense to trust that it will because there no reason why it should specifically happen in your days. And if there was a reason why it should then why didn’t it happen in the days of anyone who lived for the past thousands of years?
March 8, 2015 3:32 pm at 3:32 pm #1070426Sam KleinParticipantvice versa. there IS a reason to trust & believe that IT WILL happen in your days. because Hashem is always waiting for us to do teshuva so he can bring the geula & Mashiach BUT first we need to come together as a nation & do teshuva.
& I believe it can happen in OUR DAYS NOW. although I have seen the past few years as a time of non-stop horrific tragedies due to our lack of teshuva & not waking up to accept Hashems wake-up call for teshuva I STILL HAVE NOT GIVEN UP on my loving brothers in klal yisroel that we-myself included-will finally wake up & confess to hashem with doing teshuva.
May it happen very soon
March 8, 2015 3:45 pm at 3:45 pm #1070427Patur Aval AssurParticipantSam:
There is a difference between believing that it CAN happen and believing that it WILL happen.
March 8, 2015 5:28 pm at 5:28 pm #1070428Sam KleinParticipantthis one of the 13 beliefs of Faith that every yid is required to Believe with complete faith. (or he is not jewish)
you must believe with complete faith that mashiach will come even if we have been waiting for thousands of years
upon this we come to the last of the 13 which is:all people ever lived with have techiyas hamaisim…
may it happen very soon
March 8, 2015 6:40 pm at 6:40 pm #1070429Patur Aval AssurParticipantWhere in the “13 beliefs of Faith that every yid is required to Believe with complete faith. (or he is not jewish)” does it say that you have to believe that it will happen in your lifetime?
(And since when is someone who doesn’t believe in one of the 13 beliefs not Jewish?)
April 3, 2015 6:34 pm at 6:34 pm #1070430Patur Aval AssurParticipantIt seems I had already pointed this out a while ago:
