In that case, just post your Simchas on The Yeshiva World. Only Simchas does not, well how should I say this tastefully, Discriminate, (can’t think of a better word to use, though it does sound bad) Here, on YWN, for sure, there will be no problems.
In any case,if you have a problem, why don’t you contact Only Simchas, and let us know how they feel about it. It does seem , that there are a lot of pictures, though.

Although, I suppose engagements could also be ayin hara. I would not want my picture up.
October 10, 2010 11:03 pm at 11:03 pm #1026604smartcookieMemberI would never post my pic. I think it takes away from the beauty of our privacy.
And besides, it can definitely be an ayin hora.

(And the person who created the page is not family and you have no contact with her and she no longer has her os login.) Are you forever stuck having an engagement/wedding page as a top result for google searches?

August 6, 2014 9:05 pm at 9:05 pm #1026607HaLeiViParticipantStart a couple of blogs under your name and open a twitter account. But I think you an get Google to take off that result, unless this is only in Europe.

Only in Europe. (And they are not deleting any pages from the Internet, just removing certain items from the search index)
Lior: I would suggest contacting Only Simcha and request A Simcha deletion.

My parents and grandmother and all get nachas out of pictures and israel is not letting anyone in. They are denying permission for mothers to be there for their daughter’s weddings, births or anything else.
If I have a simcha I will post pictures on the site so my parents, grandmother and rest of my family can see it. If other people see it, thats on them not me.
Why should I or my grandmother or anyone else suffer? You arent going to go to my family’s page so this isnt your business.

To be point of these sites is to post the picture to the public. If you wanted to send privately, there are plenty of ways to do that (email, text, WhatsApp…).
