    presumably because they think it is true. a better question is how Iran could ever get 6,000 bombs when even America only has 7,000.

    The Nevuah is that Persia will destroy the world. Does that mean the entire planet or the known world at the time or something in between? Hashem promised to gather us from all part of the world and bring us to Eretz Yisroel, which appears to be happening right now. If it is to continue after Moshiach comes, how can Iran destroy everything?

    We also know that Israel will never be destroyed.

    @dnetsk The kollel I attend got their opinion, because the head of Iran openly said he wants to nuke the west and Israel, with 6,000 nuclear bombs to completely annihilate the west and Israel, so their messiah can come and that every single last person on earth becomes a Muslim

    What about Nitro Zeus? That was supposedly a plan if Iran didn’t accept Obama’s capitulation. It’s a public issue now, therefore probably worthless.

    This has the troubling implication that the identity

    of an event in a nevuah can actually be subjective,

    i.e., if you don’t think [event X]=[nevuah Y], the nevuah

    has not happened for you and still has to happen, but if

    you do think so, then as far as you’re concerned, it is.
