Personally I’m voting for Romney. I definitely think he has the potential to be a better President than Obama. That said, no matter who wins the election, the only one I’ll trust with my wellbeing, and with that of Klal Yisroel, is HaShem.

What’s the difference? Unless you live in Ohio, Florida or one of the few other swing states your vote won’t matter in the Electoral College. Electoral votes in New York, California, Illinois, etc are going 100% for Obama.

Ron Paul. The only person that says the truth. Romney and Obama are the same people with a different name.

chance- Paul has no chance of winning, and will only pull votes away from Romney. So for anyone that (after Paul) prefers Romney over Obama, I cannot understand why they would vote for Paul.

Let’s see: Those who work in academia and in the public sector will want to vote for Obama, and those who work in the public sector would prefer Romney.

Being that I work in the private sector, I will IY”H cast my vote for Romney.

I guess the cheese stands alone. While I am not 100% sure yet, I am leaning towards Obama. I feel like with respect to the Israel issue, the State Department basically dictates the relationship between Israel and the USA and all presidents are more or less the same.

On domestic issues, I consider myself a liberal and Obama comes closer to being progressive than Romney.

I also like some of the things Romney has to offer like an expertise in handling the economy. So I dont know yet.

That being said, I would vote in a second for a Guiliani-Bloomberg ticket!

I don’t understand the logic here. Are you implying that without Rubio on the ticket there is no substantive advantage of Romney over Obama. And if you do hold that viewpoint, how to you think having Rubio as VP would change Romney. The president sets policy for an administration.

yes, I view Obama and Romney as politicians (Poli meaning many tic meaning blood sucking creatures) as opposed to Rubio who I feel is an emesdik guy (hardly stained by politics) I feel both Romney and Obama would say anything possible to get or stay elected, and if Rubio is on the ticket I feel he would veer Romney in the right direction (this is just MPO)

“and if Rubio is on the ticket I feel he would veer Romney in the right direction”

I may or may not agree with your definition of politicians. However, do you really believe that they would both advance the same policies? Why do you care if the president is being “sincere”? If you believe that neither is sincere, but one of them will insincerely advance policies that will be better for the country, wouldn’t it make sense to vote for him?

Also, why do you believe that Rubio would have such great influence over a “blood sucking creature”?

I’m not American – but if I were, I’d go for Obama. Same reasons as besalel. For example, the health care revolution he initiated has to be preserved. In the UK we have the NHS which is absolutely amazing, way beter than the rumours I had heard before moving here. Maybe it’s not great everywhere – but in the Gateshead/Newcastle area, the NHS is absolutely great.

no, however I feel that after an Obama we need someone to bring us back on track someone like Reagan after Carter, I don’t think Romney is that man

I may agree with you. But Romney is the only one (with any kind of chance) who is running against Obama. So why wouldn’t you vote for the more preferable choice even if it’s not what you wanted.

“A person’s running mate is the direction in which he wants to go”

I disagree. I believe that a person’s running mate is the person who can bring in a state or segmant of the electorate that he could not otherwise get. Do you think that Joe Biden is the direction that Obama wanted to go? He just needed an older and more experienced politician to balance his youth. Does Biden have ANY influence over policy? In fact, how many VPs did?
