Obama cannot run in 2016
He can run for Senate. His former seat is up in 2016, and its currently held by a Republican, in what has become a solid blue state (albeit one that recently elected a Republican governor).
I clicked on thread that SayIdidIt posted but it looks like most people writing in that thread escaped from the mental hospital. Obama can’t run in 2016, he’s only allowed 2 terms. Hopefully after Bibi’s huge victory, the republicans will run a real conservative and win.
kfb, I think you need a mental hospital if you don’t want Obama for another 4 (8, 12, 16…) years! Another Republican president will destroy all the good Obama worked for! Imagine another Bush in the White House! What a disaster!!

Me, joking? Never! Not about President Obama ????”?! This man SAVED the US from the evil clutches of W! I’m telling you, eight years is simply not enough time to fix up everything he did. And no, Hillary is not the right one. We need a strong leader, with no scandals, to make the USA a place that Michelle would be proud of! (Remember, all scandals our administration has to deal with are Bush’s fault.)

Obama 2016!
Obama is too young to retire. His career options are teaching, politics or being bored to death. IHis former Senate seat is held by a Republican, and is one of the key ones for a pickup by the Democrats. While only two presidents had real careers after leaving office (John Quincy Adams was an distinguished member of Congress, Taft was Chief Justice).
However there are press reports he’s shopping for an estate in Hawaii, though I expect his wife and kids see Hawaii as a nice place to visit but no more.
What does he need Hawaii or Chicago when he has 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue? And after he’s done he’s 30+ years, he’ll hand the reins over to his daughters! It would be so nice!
