Last week I posted a link to an article about how Israeli scientists are close to coming up with an error free version of Tanach.
It’s common knowledge that there are different Geersaos that exist from different communities. What these scientists are doing is finding the one that matches the most exact record.
This isn’t biblical revisionism, it’s the exact opposite.
Can anyone explain why this was taken away?
Because we don’t allow outside links.

2. “Scientist” have no authority in Torah.
3. Our mesora is %100 correct, that’s what mesora is.
4. The “matchs most exact record is meaningless”
5. Chasairos V’Yesairos are not different girsaos.
The list goes on…

Also, although our Sefer has a ‘Succah’ with the Vav, we still Pasken like the Gemara that learns from the fact that the word does not have a Vav.
The idea is that it is Behashgacha that it turned out this way and we look at both as correct.

Nu, so then please reopen the good novels thread
I didn’t close it. I won’t undo what another mod did for reasons I don’t know.
October 16, 2011 9:14 am at 9:14 am #817926Shticky GuyParticipantI am suprised that mods do not document or keep notes on what they do where other mods and editors can see so they can refer to it when the first mod is off duty. Anyway, what is the appeals procedure?
